This Saturday April 16th, Space 15Twenty will be graciously hosting a three week long fundraising event for Japan.
Organized with love by Niki Livingston, Sunshine Fox and Tania Enriquez the soft opening will feature a newly remastered Akira Kurasawa’s Rashomon
to be shown at 8:00pm in the courtyard and the opening of the Pop Up Shop.
(We’re big Kurasawa nerds, so we are super hyped on this)
The following Saturday April 23rd is the opening night benefit party with a silent art auction curated by our Creative Director Niki Livingston.
With over 60 artists donating work (& loads of 2K artists, included a hand lettered piece made specifically for the show from Ed Fella !!),
there is sure to be an amazing collection of art to chose from.
Hit+Run will be on hand making totes from a selection of custom work for the show and
My Hollow Drum, Holly D. Drummond and SUPERDELUX are bringing the music.
Come by, hang out and support the effort to raise some money for the rebuilding of Northern Japan.

Kaseem Greene did this ace cover art for Bay Area Independent Rap Legend Lyrics Born’s upcoming album ‘As U Were’. Due out October 26th on Decon Records, ‘As U Were’ blends catchy pop-synth melodies and hooks, heavy guitar riffs, sticky bass, and windshield poppin’ beats. Familiar fans will appreciate classic collaborations with Gift of Gab and Joyo Velarde, as well as an overdue reunion with Lateef. He also draws on the talent of recently celebrated acts such as Trackademicks, Sam Sparro and Francis and The Lights. This new album exemplifies LB’s most adventurous production to date.

Kaseem Greene
Kaseem Greene is a Graphic Artist / Illustrator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was born in Oakland, California in 1979. His love for drawing began at an early age when he discovered the Parliament-Funkadelic album covers in his mother’s record collection. Largely self-taught, Kaseem began his career designing flyers in the San Francisco Nightclub scene. He currently maintains a thriving freelance design business, creating t-shirt graphics, packaging, logos and spot illustrations with clients ranging from Corporate to Creative. Some of Kaseem’s notable clients include Ubiquity Records, Latchkey Recordings, Graphis Inc., Ninja Tune Records and now 2K by Gingham. His work has appeared in Design Is Kinky’s Semi-Permanent 2008 book, and on MTV’s ‘Run’s House’. He is obsessed with hand-drawn typography and is in constant search of the perfect lemonade.
